BYUtah - 1913 BYU/BYH Annual
The 1913 BYU annual titled BYUtah is the only BYU yearbook to bear this name -- after that, the yearbooks were titled The Banyan. Like many of the early Banyans, it is a yearbook for both Brigham Young University, and Brigham Young University High School (see pages 60 to 82). There were many more high school students than university students in those years following BYU's first academic year (1903-1904). Many members of the yearbook staff were high school students. BYHS published its own yearbook in 1911: "11's H. S. Yearbook" and again in 1912: "Mizpah". It then appeared in the Banyan until the 1930s, when BYHS began to publish its own yearbooks, usually titled "Wildcat". This wonderful 1913 BYUtah volume is well preserved and beautifully scanned.
